We love Chinese food at our house.  I love to play with different ingredients and see what we come up with.  We have learned that we can make take out just as fast as we can order and have it delivered.  And guess what, it tastes a whole lot better.

6 tablespoons soy sauce

6 tablespoons apple juice

2 tablespoons sugar

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 pounds steak, cut into 1/4 inch strips

2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 heads broccoli, florets, separated into bit size pieces

In large shallow bowl mix soy sauce, juice, sugar and garlic.  Add meat and toss. Let sit for 15 minutes.  Remove meat from juice.  Set juice to the side.  Heat oil in skillet or wok.  Cook meat until lightly browned.  Remove meat. Add 1 cup water to wok or skillet.  Stir up browned bits with wooden spoon.  Pour into juice.  Whisk in cornstarch.  In skillet or wok, fry broccoli until bright green and crisp.  Add 1 cup water and steam until tender.  Add juice and cook until thick.  Add meat back to pan and toss to cover meat with sauce.  Serve over rice.
